Project Description:
October PSA was created for an online class that showed various ways to compress and deliver media in the lowest format with the highest quality. We were to create a 30 second commercial or PSA on a topic of our choice and compress it several times using different methods to learn how each one worked. I chose to do a PSA to promote the sport of roller skating during the month of October which is national roller skating month. Contrary to what I belived to look okay; the instructor insisted I animate the words on the screen to make it look more fun. I think it isnt necessary and takes away from the video since you have to spend more time reading. This project was able to double as an advertisement for a client's website for use during the same month.
