Project Description:
This was my first attempt at a full length music video for one of my lighting design classes. Wanting to stray away from traditional music videos I tried going with longer cuts and got mixed results. The lighting for this video was done by what was available to me on location, no light kits and was shot using a Panasonic DVX100. In order to accomplish this extensive location scouting and planning was required alongside storyboarding. A few key scenes were lit up with car headlights; sometimes one car and sometimes seven cars. Street lights, daylight, and other natural lighting sources were also used to complete this project.
