2008 Internship
In the early months of 2008 I was a production intern at Big Shoulders Digital Video Productions. I did the internship to gain more knowledge of how things are set up and run professionally while in the field. I also did the internship to replace a studio production class to keep my graduation date on schedule since the class isn't offered all the time. To document my time during this experience I was to write a journal of all that I experienced, encountered, and learned. To accompany that journal was to be some sort of visual. Since the various companies I was doing work for while interning didn't want my personal video camera on the sets, the idea of creating a website to showcase everything I had was given to me. This turned out to be one of the best learning experiences I have encountered to date. I reccomend an internship to everyone regardless of your field, the experience and contacts alone are worth it.
